Rotate and remove the cross-shaped piece from the outer disk. You will find the movement very satisfying, both horizontally and vertically, creating a pleasant tactile experience as you solve it. When you are finished, insert the cross and rotate it until the arrow lines up with the HEX stamp on the outer ring.
